DC United Shirt Sponsor

I have it on good authority (Not DC United employees) that the new Jersey Sponsor of DC United is Volkswagen. We have been hearing rumors that it was a foriegn car company and many of us were concerned that we’d be donning Kia or Hyundia jerseys. Not that theres anything wrong with that.

That jersey is reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally ugly. I mean, “farfennugen” will be “fart nugget” to all the opposing fans.

Did your good authority have any ideas as to the timeframe in which an announcement will be made? As in, before tomorrow night for the season opener @ KC?

The “Fargennugen” is obviously just my attempt at humor. I think it’ll look ok. Much better than a lot of other possible sponsors. I like VW’s althought I was hoping for Mercedes, Audi or BMW.
